One Thing 2018.
We’ve very excited to announce that our next Women’s Conference will be on 13th October so get the date in your diaries now. Bookings are now open and it will be a faith building day full of great teaching, fellowship and food!
Below is a message regarding the conference from our Pastor, Sarah Webber:
“I’m writing to you today with great excitement and anticipation in my heart as I invite you to join us for our 2018 conference ‘ONE THING’ on Saturday 13th October…a day that I believe will be significant for us all!
Back in April I woke in the early hours with 2 words running through my mind ‘ONE THING’
I got up and began to pray and as I did the Holy Spirit began to speak to me about gathering women together in the Autumn to hear the heart of Jesus and to spend time in His presence.
In Luke 10, we read that Jesus went to spend time with Mary and Martha but while he was there Martha was so busy and anxious to make sure all the immediate needs were met, that in that moment she forgot what mattered most. Jesus looked at her lovingly and said ‘Martha you are worried and upset about so many things but only ONE THING is needed….’
I don’t know about you, but my life is so full and busy that I’m often left anxious about so many things and in doing so forget the ONE THING that is needed.
My prayer is that you’ll journey with me on Saturday 13th October to discover afresh the ONE THING that we all need, the ONE THING that will set us free, the ONE THING that will bring us JOY.
I’m delighted to tell you that Lyndall Bywater will be joining us for the day, and along with myself, bring Gods word to us.
I’ve only recently got to know Lyndall, but I’ve found her to be a woman who hears the voice of God, and carries a prophetic message for the church, especially in the area of prayer. Based in Canterbury, she travels extensively teaching and writing on prayer. She works with networks such as 24-7 prayer, Prayer forum of the British Isles and Ireland, kent prayer partnership and the Salvation Army as their UK Prayer co-ordinator.
She’s someone worth listening to and I urge you to make this date a priority and do all you can to be with us on the 13th October.
We’re also delighted to welcome you to our new home! Some of you who know our story will know the miracle we’re walking in right now and we’re excited to be able to host a conference once again.
I do hope you can join us. You can book on through Eventbrite and we encourage you to do so and get the early bird rate of £15 for the day which includes a delicious lunch and lots of goodies throughout the day too!
We’d love you to come with a group from your church, as these days are always great for us to be together and grow in friendship too.
I look forward to welcoming you and having a wonderful day together. I believe that something remarkable happens when we ‘gather TOGETHER in ONE place!’
God bless you all
